Beautifully situated self-catering accommodation is available on Roodezand for your family and friends. All located within walking distance of the venue there are the perfect spots for the bride and groom to prepare for their big day. With one family house and four cottages, all furnished and perfectly appointed, you and your nearest and dearest can relax in comfort and style during your wedding weekend. Our available accommodation can accommodate 24 guests. This accommodation is also available for weekends when we are not hosting weddings.
With Roodezand being located just 10km outside of Tulbagh there are plenty of attraction, activities, and alternative accommodation nearby to keep your guests busy and celebrating all weekend long.
Family House
The family house can sleep up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. The spacious living areas allow for a relaxed weekend away from it all. This house has two living rooms, each with is own fireplace. Firewood is readily available on the farm.
If your group is a bit bigger there are two annexe rooms, each with their own bathroom close to the family house. These two rooms each accommodate two guests.
Cottages
Our cottages are renovated labourer’s cottages and we tried to keep the spirit of their previous use intact. Every room can be lit with candles which creates a romantic getaway atmosphere.
Two cottages accommodate 4 guests each with ensuite bedrooms, sharing a kitchen/living area. Both of these cottages have a working fireplace and braai facility.
The two smaller cottages can sleep 2 guests each, with their own bathroom and kitchen/living area. These also have a braai area.
